The Toxic Apple Pocket is a specific zone within the main Poison Ivy Pocket, itself part of The Bull Vein complex. The Fluorite is like that of Poison Ivy, but of a much more acrid, acidic green, reminiscent of sour gooseberries or tart baking apples. The Fluorite forms as single, intergrown cubic crystals to 3 cm, with characteristic transparent gemmy corners and edges which grade to faces swirled with cotton wool-like cloudy inclusions of light peppermint-green Fluorite. In direct daylight this specimen does not fluoresce, but its colour intensifies to richer greens. Under LWUV all crystals are strongly fluorescent emitting brilliant lavender-white and mid-lilac. A delightful miniature and a quite different looking Fluorite for your collection.
