The Quiruvilca mine in the Santiago de Chuco Province of Peru was a Cu-Pb-Zn-Ag-Au mine that exploited both mesothermal and epithermal deposits within andesitic and basaltic volcanics.  It is famous amongst collectors for several exceptionally fine species, one of which is Enargite.  This excellent cabinet specimen is from the Dr Josef Clemente (1899-1987) Collection of southern Germany and displays a stunning array of sharp elegant Enargite crystals dusted with micro-crystals of Pyrite and occasional areas of drusy crystallised milky Quartz.  The Enargite crystals are world-class and measure mainly between 1.5 to 2 cm, with blunt terminations and of metallic gunmetal-dark grey.  The majority of these are coated with sub-mm brassy Pyrite crystals of the pyritohedron habit, their extensive coverage lending an overall sucrosic texture to the specimen.  The patches of drusy Quartz form prickly, cactus-type structures which add contrast to the mainly dark brassy and grey mineralogy.  This is a seriously impressive Enargite from Peru.
