This miniature group of mainly translucent, candy-pink Elbaite Tourmaline crystals looks good enough to eat.  A 3.8 x 1.3 x 1.4 cm prismatic crystal of translucent candy-pink and semi-opaque, silky bubble gum-pink is capped with a gemmy hot cerise-pink cap.  Two smaller yet similar crystals intersect on one side, one of which is a gorgeous opaque bright candy-pink with a translucent glistening silky lustre.  This delightful cluster is from a pocket discovered in the Coronel Murta pegmatite in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais; an area known the world over for its magnificent gem minerals.  A charming Elbaite Tourmaline from Coronel Murta, mounted vertically on a small, colourless bevelled acrylic base.
