An off matrix interpenetrant twin of smoky straw yellow Fluorite with delicate hues of ethereal lilac.  This lovely twin in mounted on a bevelled colourless acrylic base, off-set from the vertical and attached from the rough back surface of the main crystal’s plane of attachment.  The larger crystal measures 3.0 x 2.5 x 2.2 cm, although please note this is split diagonally from where it was in contact with the wall rock.  This miniature Fluorite is from the Harvest Pocket section of The Bull Vein at Lady Annabella mine, just south of the village of Eastgate in Weardale, County Durham.  The Bull Vein was exhumed and excavated during the summer and autumn of 2020 and produced a spectrum of wonderfully coloured Fluorite specimens.  The crystals are wonderfully zoned, this being seen to full advantage in good daylight and under low magnification, the outer faces even turn pale lilac.  A splendid colour zoned yellow Fluorite from the Harvest Pocket at Lady Annabella mine.
