The Lady Annabella mine began in summer 2020 working a Fluorite rich bench in the old Eastgate quarry, also known to collectors as the Blue Circle Cement quarry.  Operations focused on The Bull Vein which is characterised by a prominent northeast trending strike-slip fault with en echelon, carbonate filled tension gashes displayed along its strike.  Adjacent pockets along the vein heralded different coloured purple and green Fluorite while the vein itself was characterised by yellow and amber colours.  This stunning large miniature has an ironstone matrix encrusted with white crazed and frosted Fluorite cubes averaging 0.5 to 1 cm on edge, dominated by a magnificent gemmy 2.5 x 2.3 x 1.9 cm pale honey-amber elongated cube displaying outer colour zoning of pale lilac, mauve and colourless.  The zoning is made more prominent when viewed in direct daylight, under which it also naturally fluoresces.  Under LWUV the Fluorite fluoresces bright bluish-white.  An excellent example of Fluorite from The Bull Vein.
