The district of Saalfeld in central Germany is type locality to Erythrite, a hydrated cobalt arsenate.  Deep mauve to cobalt purple acicular crystals of 1 to 2 mm long form a near continuous coating on a shelly limestone matrix which displays cream to tan areas on the display face.  A rich small cabinet specimen from this famous German locality, accompanied with an original Crystal Classics label (then based in Devon) and a Richard W. Barstow green stock label.
