A small cabinet specimen with a rich coverage of opaque creamy Cerussite crystals from Logaulas mine east of Ysbyty Ystwyth in Ceredigion, Wales, part of the Lisburne Lead and Silver Mines group. The Cerussite is semi-translucent and forms crystals up to 1 cm long. It sometime forms repeated twins with part stellate clusters interwoven between the more linear or partly reticulated habits. A nice example of Cerussite from this ancient lead mine in central Wales. The Cerussite occurs with drusy Quartz crystals on a matrix of Quartz-cemented breccia. It comes with two labels, one that of the previous collection and an Arnold Fisher Minerals stock label.
