ID: CC21569
A rare and most unusual miniature of Chalcophyllite partially pseudomorphing to Chrysocolla from Wheal Gorland in the parish of Gwennap, east of Redruth in Cornwall.  Personally I have not seen such a pseudomorph before, but the peppermint green Chrysocolla forms a platy mass intermixed and adjacent to a small area of turquoise green Chalcophyllite crystals.  Chrysocolla does not form crystals, so any Chrysocolla with a crystalline appearance is some form of pseudomorph.
