An excellent small cabinet specimen of blue and green Willemite from Tsumeb mine in Namibia. Stood vertically on its naturally flat base the specimen has a duck’s foot appearance with slayed-out toes joined by a webbed foot, all formed from globular clusters of Willemite averaging 3 to 5 mm. The variable colour and brilliant sparkling lustre make this a stand-out Willemite and is terrific value at $500. An interesting feature is what appear as black Willemite spheres which form a spherical shell of blue-green crystals around them, a feature worthy of detailed study under magnification.
