A beautiful miniature Wulfenite from the La Morita mine in Chihuahua, Mexico, an old Baryte mine which from 2018 has produced superb specimen-quality Wulfenite.  Measuring approximately 4.5 x 3 cm overall, two transparent and translucent, square, tabular Wulfenite crystals of 2.5 x 2.0 and 2.4 x 2.8 cm are intergrown to form a stunning pair of magnificent colour and lustre.  The crystals are in general transparent, but due to a preferential surface coating on the back, appear translucent.  This coating is typical of the La Morita mine and gives these faces a pale apricot orange tint with a matt lustre.  Additional Wulfenite crystals are formed on the back.  Please note, the top left corner of the smaller of the two crystals is slightly chipped which is reflected in the price.
