The ErupciĆ³n mine at Los Lamentos in Mexico is world famous for its magnificent Wulfenite specimens.  No doubt many collectors of Mexican minerals, or wulfenite as a species, have a good representative suite from here.  However, if you fancy a quite different specimen, perhaps this is for you.  It might not be described as aesthetic in conventional terms, but different and perfect it is.  Sitting central in an 8.5 x 6 cm geode-like shell lined with rhombic Dolomite crystals, a perfectly formed 2.4 x 2.1 x 0.8 cm tabular Wulfenite crystal sits upright, yet of a speckled chocolate brown due to a complete coating of Vanadinite.  A lovely and unusual small cabinet specimen of Wulfenite, Vanadinite and Dolomite from Mexico.
