Topaz crystals from Kleine Spitzkoppe are characteristically well terminated and quite chunky and exude great appeal (to me anyway!). This lovely miniature is very much of this ilk and stands vertically for display on its horizontally cleaved base. The Topaz is colourless yet contains a distinct slight greenish tinge, greatly adding to its appeal. Do note one end of the chisel-style termination is slightly dinged, not that any part is missing, but a former knock has shocked this extremer corner. The crystal is essentially gemmy with occasional internal traversing veils. Kleine Spitzkoppe is an isolated granite stock in the Erongo Region of Namibia.
