Zircon

ID: CC21810
The Tigerville Prospect in South Carolina is worked for Vermiculite occurring in a pegmatite and while mining, excellent Zircon specimens have been recovered. This miniature is a lovely example of a fine octahedral Zircon crystal with edges to 1.6 cm embedded in an apricot speckled, creamy Feldspar matrix. The Zircon is opaque creamy cherry-pink and displays three entire faces of the upper four-sided pyramid.
