Azurite with Libethenite and Chrysocolla

ID: CC21863
This miniature of jumbled Azurite, Libethenite and Chrysocolla is a fine example of typical vein material from Carharrack mine to the east of Redruth in Cornwall, England. This specimen appears to be a brecciated complex mix of these three species and I suspect there could be patches of earthy sage green Chenevixite also present. On the display side a narrow 2 cm long vug contains micro crystals of deep azure blue Azurite. A good reference specimen with two earlier labels.
