An attractive miniature purple Fluorite grading to green near to the base of the crystals from the Purple Rain Pocket in Lady Annabella mine, Eastgate, Weardale, County Durham, England.  One of the twinned crystals has become distorted to an L-shaped symmetry, forced by the second prism interrupting its development, the longest edges measuring 3.2 cm.  The prisms basically divide into a purple upper, almost complete prism, with a sea green lower base, the prims themselves remaining purple throughout.  The crystals naturally fluoresce an intense blackberry purple in direct daylight and a uniform white lavender under LWUV.
