Fluorite with Galena and Hydrocerussite

ID: CC21951
Two purple and sea green Fluorite crystals attached either side of a short column of crude cuboctahedral Galena crystals coated with pale apricot tan Hydrocerussite, from the Hailstorm Pocket in Lady Annabella mine, Eastgate, Weardale, County Durham, England.  One Fluorite is an interpenetrant twin to 1.7 cm, while the single crystal measures to 1.5 cm.  Hydrocerussite is an uncommon mineral throughout Weardale and on this specimen forms a continuous matt coating completely masking the Galena, save for where it is cleaved across its base.  The Fluorite has mild daylight fluorescence and under LWUV fluoresces bright creamy white lavender.
