An attractive pair of transparent to gemmy, single Fluorite crystals of light purple grading to colourless and green at their bases. The centres of each prism are crazed with multiple planes which reflect light internally. The larger of the two cubes measures 2.5 cm on its longest edge. This small miniature is from the Purple Rain Pocket in Lady Annabella mine, Eastgate, Weardale, County Durham, England, mined during the summer of 2021. It has good daylight fluorescence and under LWUV the Fluorite fluoresces bright creamy lavender white.
