Two translucent purple and mild sea green Fluorite crystals attached either side of an equant cuboctahedral Galena crystal with a thin coating of light grey to watery white Hydrocerussite, from the Hailstorm Pocket in Lady Annabella mine, Eastgate, Weardale, County Durham, England. Both Fluorite prisms are single crystals (i.e., not twinned) and measure up to 1.6 and 1.4 cm respectively. Hydrocerussite is an uncommon mineral throughout Weardale and on this specimen forms a continuous matt coating, partly masking the Galena. The Galena shows through in many areas giving a light grey look to the Hydrocerussite. It has mild daylight fluorescence and under LWUV fluoresces bright lavender.
