A fine blackberry purple, sea green and colourless Fluorite crystal attached to crude octahedral and cuboctahedral Galena crystals coated with white Hydrocerussite, from the Hailstorm Pocket in Lady Annabella mine, Eastgate, Weardale, County Durham, England. The single elongated cubic crystal of Fluorite measures up to 2.0 cm and is quite gemmy with purple outer faces grading through colourless to a green centre. Hydrocerussite is an uncommon mineral throughout Weardale and on this specimen forms a continuous matt coating completely masking the Galena. The Fluorite displays a mild natural daylight fluorescence of delicate purple and is a uniform whitish lavender under LWUV.
