This specimen is priced in US dollars, all other prices are approximate.

ID: CC2343
From Tsumeb mine in Namibia, the calcium-zinc arsenate Austinite forms well developed and very large crystals (for the species) to just over 3 mm of pistachio green with a satin lustre. The crystals overgrow a bright green botryoidal layer covering the matrix and along one side of the specimen the Austinite crystals are in turn overgrown by a dusting of another mineral, probably Dolomite. Some of the best of species for Austinite were found at Tsumeb in the 2nd Oxidation Zone. This specimen is unusually well crystallised, something we do not often see on the market from Tsumeb.
