A gorgeous miniature inky blue Fluorite from Emilio mine at Loroñe in the Asturias region of Spain.  The mine is close to the coast and about midway along the due east-west stretch of Spanish coastline that protrudes west from the southern limit of France.  Not the most elegant of geographical descriptions, but you will know where I mean!  The Fluorite forms a tight cluster of gemmy, violet elongated cubic crystals some of which grade to almost colourless, framed inky blue.  The largest prism measures approximately 1.8 x 1.3 x 1.1 cm although there are many other crystals of near-similar size.  This is indeed a beautiful miniature Fluorite from the famous Obdulia Vein.
