What appears to be a floater, creamy white Albite Feldspar crystals entirely cover a chloritised slaty matrix from Lanterdan quarry at Treknow, just south of the village of Tintagel in Cornwall, England.  The nearby Tintagel Castle is associated with the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.  The accompanying label records this large miniature was found in a one metre cavity within slate in April 1988.  Although the cavity was almost completely covered with Albite, only two specimens like this were found.  Individual crystals measure to 9 mm and have a bright glassy lustre.
