If you like members of the Garnet Group you will love this adorably cute cluster of acidic yellow Andradite crystals from the Findel glacier area of Zermatt in Valais, Switzerland.  This large thumbnail or small miniature is a mass of perfectly formed glassy translucent Andradite crystals, each to about 0.5 mm across.  Yes, these are small, but once clustered and set amongst the adhering snow-white foliated matrix they will make a superb and most unusual addition to any collection of Garnets.
