A fabulous cabinet specimen of minty green dappled cream Fluorite from the most appropriately named Minty Cheesecake Pocket at Lady Annabella mine, close to the village of Eastgate in Weardale, County Durham, England.  The Lady Annabella mine works the last remaining known Fluorite-rich bench in the former Eastgate Quarry and to date has produced a spectacular variety of coloured fluorite specimens.  Intergrown cubic crystals of between 2.5 and 3 cm sit either side of one central 4 cm Fluorite crystal, each with characteristic frosted-cloudy face centres framed with more gemmy emerald green edges and corners.  Under LWUV the Fluorite fluoresces bright lavender, looking quite spectacular.
