A stunning small cabinet specimen of deep emerald green Fluorite from The Hidden Forest Pocket in Diana Maria mine, Frosterley, Weardale in County Durham, England.  Superb interpenetrant twinned crystals up to 2 cm on edge completely cover a trimmed ironstone matrix.  The larger twins are entirely gemmy with razor-sharp edges and corners with a fabulous bright glassy lustre.  Held in daylight the crystals naturally fluoresce intense blackberry purple, caused by a unusually high content of rare earth elements.  Under LWUV the Fluorite fluoresces bright lavender white and under SWUV, pale ethereal lavender.  A fantastic Weardale Fluorite from the recently discovered Hidden Forest Pocket in Diana Maria mine.
