A delightful and quite amazing large miniature featuring a truncated octagonal Scheelite crystal perched across the apex of a terminated Quartz crystal. Both the Scheelite crystals and its alignment are remarkable; immediately grabbing your attention! From Tenkergin mine in the Iul'tinskiy Complex in the Far-Eastern Region of Russia, the opaque, deep apricot to barley sugar orange Scheelite crystal measures 2 cm on edge and stands 1.8 cm tall above the Quartz. The Quartz is translucent light smoky grey to opaque milky white and has an asymmetric termination. Under SWUV the Scheelite fluoresces a reasonably bright, pure white.
