The Grand Reef mine in Laurel Canyon, Graham County, Arizona worked a polymetallic orebody hosting lead, copper, silver, zinc, gold, molybdenum, vanadium and was also worked for baryte, fluorspar and silica. That is what you call polymetallic! This small cabinet specimen of strongly cemented breccia, composed of many different types of clast, contains an exposed 2.5 x 1 cm vug on one side in which the mineralisation occurs. Several gemmy, deep electric blue Linarite crystals are developed within the vug, the largest measuring approximately 1 cm long (difficult to accurately measure). These contrast well against a lining of orange micro-crystals of Quartz with clusters and individual colourless, completely gemmy Cerussite crystals.
