Fluorite on Dolomite

ID: CC3295

Specimens of Fluorite from China are now considered to be contemporary classics. The specimen we have to offer displays excellent gemmy Fluorite crystals on a Dolomite matrix. Fluorite forms a interconnected line of crystals with beveled edges, individually measuring to 2.1cm. The interior of the crystals of Fluorite possess a tiny seed Fluorite with a purple colour,  deeply overgrown by a beautiful gemmy blue. The matrix is a creamy lustrous druse of saddle habit Dolomite. The reverse of the specimen also has scattered crystal of Fluorite.
