A terrific miniature of tiny yet perfect Pyromorphite crystals on ferruginous Quartz from the Laverock Hall Vein, an outcrop once worked just west of Leadhills village in south Lanarkshire, Scotland. The Pyromorphite crystals are a lustrous, lime green measuring to around 2 mm, richly covering a Goethite-Quartz matrix with the appearance of a moss-lined cavity. Although lime green, the prisms all tend to subtly grade from leafy lime at their base to a more yellowish lime green termination. This choice miniature is accompanied by no less than five labels, one from the Trinity Mineral Company.
