Excellent micro-crystals of bladed Tsumcorite are abundantly intergrown atop this specimen from the Tsumeb mine, Namibia, for which it is the type locality. Crystals of Tsumcorite, named for the Tsumeb Corporation, are gemmy to opaque butterscotch-yellow and are associated with scattered tabular crystals of sherry-brown translucent Wulfenite. Both minerals are formed on red-brown Goethite covering prismatic crystals of Quartz.  These are particularly good crystals of Tsumcorite, which can often form are ill-defined crystals, more earthy is texture.
