A fine combination specimen of two copper phosphates from the classic Slovakian location of Ľubietová, formerly named Libethen. Deep bottle green Libethenite crystals cover a large area of the rusty-orange-tan Quartz/Goethite matrix with a substantial presence of rounded, dark blue-green botryoidal Pseudomalachite, up to 2.5 cm wide. Many edges of the Pseudomalachite display an excellent depositional banded structure, just like Malachite and hence its name! A splendid old-time specimen from this classic European location.
