A large gemmy to translucent substantial crystal of pastel purple-pink Calcite from the Cavnic mining area in Romania. The major Calcite crystal has only one point of contact along the ‘lower’ back edge on Quartz and has a neat inverted V-twin of Calcite developed out from the main blocky crystal. A fine pink Calcite from the location.
