A semi-lustrous black druse of micro-crystallised Dufrénite mostly covers dark olive green micro-botryoidal Dufrénite from Hoff auf mich mine at Ullersreuth, in Thuringia, Germany. This old iron mine closed in 1848 and is the type locality for Dufrénite, a rare calcium-iron phosphate. This is a fine example of the species and is a rich specimen covering a matrix of Goethite.
