Lustrous gemmy-translucent deep acidic lime-green crystals of Vesuvianite from the Ala Valley in Piedmont, Italy.   Crystals of Vesuvianite measuring to 1 cm are intergrown over a roughly 3 x 3 cm area of a light grey-green matrix of massive Vesuvianite.
