Buttercup-lemon globular clusters of Mimetite to around 5 mm diameter densely surround tabular blades of gemmy acidic lemon Wulfenite of a similar size.  This beautiful miniature is from San Pedro Corralitos in Chihuahua, Mexico and is so characteristic of the superbly colourful minerals Mexico is so abundant in.  The Mimetite has a satin lustre which contrasts wonderfully with the bright reflective glassy lustre of the Wulfenite.  An excellent small miniature covering a matrix of vuggy, gossany-granular Quartz pervaded with micro crystals of Mimetite and Wulfenite.
