Tourmaline with Quartz

A totally delightful small miniature of five differing sized, gemmy Tourmaline crystals forming a V-like configuration with intergrown crystals of colourless to milky-white Quartz. The Tourmaline crystals are a vivid cerise-pink with a thin dark grey-olive green terminated cap and all have a stippled micro-crystalline surface. The largest prism is 1.3 cm and although this may sound quite small, this specimen delivers a punch way above its size. It is a specimen of great beauty from Pyingyi Taung in the Mandalay Division of Myanmar. This specimen is mounted on a clear square acrylic base.
