Botryoidal Malachite in various shades of rich leaf-green partly covers a light biscuit-brown Quartz matrix in areas to 3.8 x 2.7 cm from the classic Brixlegg area of the Inn Valley, Austria.  The Malachite forms spheres and mamillary druses to 2 cm across and in cross section has a dense porcelaneous interior and lustre.  An excellent example of Malachite from the Tyrol.
