A remarkable small cabinet specimen of Native Copper forming arborescent branches of linked and intergrown nodules. Their surfaces are encrusted with Copper micro-crystals, forming this rather unusual rounded habit of Native Copper. Good specimens of Native Copper from the Rudabánya mining area in Hungary are uncommon, as we have only seen a handful over the last few years. The outer surfaces of the Copper nodules have developed an earthy, copper-pink patina whereas the interconnecting stems and branches are an earthy, drab light olive-grey. The specimen is accompanied with a German collector’s label.
