This fine cabinet specimen comprises of several large part cubic crystals of Fluorite, all with sharply defined razor-sharp edges and an underside of leaf to sea green massive Fluorite.  Probably almost all the Fluorite in the Purple Rain and Hailstorm pockets morphs from green to purple towards the crystal’s apex, although this is not usually apparent.  The Fluorite forms crystals of between about 3 and 6.6 cm on edge with upward facing corners.  The face centres are frosted with an internal white opacity which grades to deep translucent blackberry and semi-transparent zones.  Closely examined, these reveal delicate lilac and green zoning in alternating bands.  The more gemmy corners of each Fluorite crystal display excellent daylight fluorescence and under LWUV the Fluorite fluoresces bright deep purple with white edges, appearing like a computer-generated framework.
