Malachite pseudomorph after Azurite

ID: CC8195

A terrific large miniature lustrous rich inky-blue Azurite crystals intergrown with velvety deep-leaf green Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite from the Tsumeb mine, Otjikoto Region, Namibia. A cluster of unaltered Azurite crystals to 2.1 cm sit flat against the matrix on one half of the display face, together with a partly pseudomorphed Azurite crystal, with its sharp chisel edged termination remaining as superb inky-blue Azurite. The remaining areas are richly covered in razor-sharp Malachite pseudomorphs. An excellent example of both Azurite and Malachite pseudomorphing from Tsumeb.
