Gemmy, light sea green cubic crystals of Fluorite cover a small ironstone matrix from Rogerley mine, close to the village of Frosterley in Weardale, County Durham.  The crystals measure up to 1.5 cm on their longest edges, as many of the crystals are elongated.  Every crystal is an interpenetrant twin and all have a bright glassy lustre with linear growth developments on their faces, fully apparent under low magnification.  The Fluorite exhibits weak daylight fluorescence and under LWUV fluoresces bright purple-lavender.  This lovely miniature is mounted vertically on a bevelled, clear acrylic base.  It is attached by what I think is hot melt glue, so this can be easily removed in warm water if desired.  A beautiful Fluorite from Rogerley.
