Microcube crystals of colourless to milky-white Fluorite forms the matrix of scattered creamy-pale chocolate-brown Scheelite crystals.  This specimen, from the Camp Bird mine in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, USA, has around 12 octahedral Scheelite crystals, the largest to 6 mm on edge. The Scheelite fluoresces a pale straw-yellow in shortwave ultraviolet.  A fine example of Scheelite from the King’s Stope section of Camp Bird mine, Colorado.
