Well-formed platy crystals of Hydrocerussite from the Torr Works quarry close to Shepton Mallet in Somerset.  Hydrocerussite forms an excellent intergrown cluster of yellow-green tinted creamy crystals measuring up to 8 mm associated with white crystals of Baryte, green micro-crystals of Malachite and a bladed crystal group of probable Pyrolusite.  The former perch on a druse of white Calcite covering a hard grey manganese-oxide matrix.  A now very seldom seen rare specimen of attractively crystallised Hydrocerussite from Torr Works, known colloquially to collectors as Merehead quarry.
