Two semi-lustrous, milky-white Celestite (Celestine) crystals to 7 and 6.5 cm long intersect close to ninety degrees forming an attractive cross.  From the N’Chwaning Mines in the Kalahari Manganese Field of South Africa, the intersection of the Celestite crystals is richly encrusted with single and double terminated acid-yellow Ettringite crystals to 14 mm and glittering patches of micro-crystalline Hausmannite.  The back face of the smaller Celestite crystal is scattered with Ettringite and micro-Hausmannite crystals.  The combination of the three species make for a great specimen from this classic mining region.
