Cerussite

ID: CC1718

A really exquisite Christmas tree specimen of twinned Cerussite from the Zelidja Mine, Morocco. The Cerussite specimen displays a fine example of reticulated twinning on 110. The main crystals measure 2.3cm long. All the Cerussite crystals have transparent to translucent silky luster with a very pleasing smoky colouration exhibiting phantoms. The Cerussite has a minor amount of white Calcite and Fe-oxide matrix attached.
