A super specimen of jackstraw Cerussite from a very rare location at the Snailbeach Mine, Shropshire, England. We very seldom see these specimens from the mine! (only turning up once in a blue moon). The specimen displays fine richly intergrown crystals with lots of parallel growth, individual crystals attaining a length of 5.5cm. Crystals of Cerussite are lightly covered in a thin tan-brown Goethite. A fine rare jackstraw Cerussite from the mine, with an old label.
