Cerussite Reticulated Crystal Habit

ID: CC1592

A choice specimen of reticulated Cerussite from a location that is renowned for this crystal twinning habit, from the Tsumeb mine. The reticulated Cerussite has well defined radial arms when viewed down the main axis of the specimen. The tapering thick bladed crystals are excellently developed with terrific lustre. The reticulated Cerussite is primarily gemmy with a slightly smoky colour tint. There is a small amount of deep grey Sulphide matrix in association, and tiny colourless prismatic Quartz on the Sulphide. An excellent specimen of this twinning form from the location.
