An excellent small cabinet specimen of inter grown Chalcocite crystals from the Tincroft Mine, Illogan in the heart of the once great Cornish mining industry. Tabular disc-like crystals of Chalcocite measuring to 0.9cm form in a cluster, over grown by a second deposition of micro-blocky 'hexagonal' crystals. The crystals of Chalcocite have metallic tinted purple-blue patina. A neat Chalcocite specimen from the mine.
