Chalcocite

ID: CC5518

Well formed classic crystals of Chalcocite richly adorn the specimen from St. Ives Consols, St. Ives, Cornwall. Crystals of metallic blue-grey Chalcocite measuring to 6mm display lots of stacked habit and some hopper development, typical of Chalcocite specimens from the mine on a matrix of red-brown Goethite gossan. A fine crystal specimen of Chalcocite from the mine.
