Well developed mostly inter grown sphenoidal crystals of Chalcopyrite cover the display face of the specimen, from one of the most intensively mined areas at Redruth, Cornwall. Crystals of Chalcopyrite measuring to around 1.5cm, are associated with white Quartz and tan coloured lenticular Siderite crystals. The specimen comes with a William S. Vaux Collection label.
